Diapers be gone!!

Well, the time has come for my baby to grow up! That's right, we're starting the potty training phase! Yeah, no more diapers, until the next one comes along anyway. I spoke to her Dr. yesterday and she gave me the go ahead. Izzy is only 19 months, but our Dr. seemed pretty sure that she was ready, so I'm going ahead with it. Bye bye diapers, hello big girl underwear! We're heading out to Utah tomorrow because my brother and sister-in-law just had their first baby, so as soon as we get back, Izzy is no longer a diaper kid. My Dr. seems to agree that putting them right into underwear, although a mess, is the best way to teach them. It should be interesting so I'll keep up the posts on how she does.

Anonymous wants more movies!

A very rude anonymous commenter would like to see more movies. I decided to oblige this request. Here are a few random movies. (I know who MRS. RUDE is and I'm not coming to visit you in March if you're going to use my blog as a place to practice you're immature pranks!) This person is my mother for those of you who were wondering about the oddly creepy posts she left. I did have some questions on them. She thinks she's funny!

While making dinner last night, Izzy came running out of her room with this basket. I wasn't quite sure what she was going to do with it, but honestly I was just glad she was playing and not getting into the zip lock bags again. I had just finished putting everything together when I found her trying to get into it. She came up with various positions, but settled on the Houdini move shown here at the bottom. I'm not kidding you, she stayed crouched down like this for two min or so, (which for a toddler is a long time) It made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to scare her. Guess I underestimated the fun one can have with such an inconspicous item.

Alright, Alright, I get it. John McCain is NOT going away and as much as I'd like to see the guy have a stroke right about now, it's just not going to happen. I know some of you might be thinking, "Oh, it's not that bad, he might be able to beat Hillary" well, that's the kind of thinking that got us in this mess. Oh yeah that and people being stupid. I have really come to believe that people in this nation vote without having read one thing about the candidates. Either that or they are watching ABC or countless other news outlets. So, the question remains, where do we go from here? Well, I've decided that if indeed it does come down to John vs Hillary....I shudder to have to write my own name in there, I'm not making the call for either one. I just can't do it for McCain and as for Satan's spawn, well there ain't no way I'm throwing my hat in for her. I've also left the Republican party, yep that's right, I'm going to call myself an ultra conservative independent. I'm sorry for all of you out there who are also facing the harsh reality that we are left with two highly experienced idiots, but it looks like at this point it's socialists one, America zero. Good luck to those of you who are holding out hope for Obama, I know you're out there so we'll see what happens. As for me, well we pretty much ate an entire loaf of banana bread in one night. Neeless to say, I signed up for the gym today. Also, something seems to be wrong with blogger, so I can't spell check or add pics. I'll try to fix this post in the morning.
