Big News!!

Ok, so part of my non-blogging was due to the fact that I've been sick. If you haven't noticed from my new title, we're having another baby. I wasn't deathly ill, just felt like I had the flu all the time, hence the no blogging. At this point, I'm feeling better as far as the flu part goes, but I'm still very tired and for some reason I seem to get a lot of headaches in my second trimester. This kid is pretty much exactly the same as my pregnancy with Isabelle except for the acne of course. So I must say, my daughter pretty much knows every show on TV by heart now and even greets Steve, or Joe with a big HI Steve, or Joe every time her favorite blues clues episode comes on, oh what a proud parent am I. I guess the good news is that I'm back to cooking sort of, (not that I was ever a good cook) so that means re-heated left overs for Jer instead of re-heated burgers at the local fast food joint, lucky duck, I know you're all wishing you could live this good.

Well, here's a sneak peak at our soon to be newborn. I'm 15 weeks along and due on Feb 1st. I cheated a bit and went to Fetal Photo's while in Utah...love that place, so here it is.......drum roll please........baby number two is a BOY!! Jer is very excited and it will be interesting to see how the wild child handles our new addition. I'm guessing she's going to be ticked, but maybe she'll surprise me. Let's hope!! Oh, he still looks like skelator right now, but even so, we're not naming him that.

Congrats Hill!!! That is so fun and exciting! He will definitely be so cute... and as for the cooking, I was the same way. Men can handle it, they were single once! HAHA I'm so excited for you!!!!

Congratulations on baby number two! February is a fabulous month for a baby. I am sure you are going to have the opposite problem with Isabelle she is going to want to smother him and hold him and be all over in his face.

Welcome back to the blogging world. :) It was good to see you! Congrats on the news of a boy! Boys are so different from girls. It'll be fun to have one of each. :)

Hey congratulations! I was just talking to Scott about that - speculating due to your comment on Heidi's blog. We are very excited for you! So, from my experience, second kids are really good at taking all the being sat upon, stepped upon and squished and everything else that the first one dishes out. He'll be just fine!

Congrats Jer and Hill! Guess that goes to prove that mom loved Jer the most, right??? (inside joke, sorry for those who aren't in on it)

And, I think Skeletor is a perfectly fine name. ;-)

Congratulations! My Google Reader didn't show any new posts so I thought I'd see if something was up (I've missed) and it was. Yahoo! Great news. Very excited for you. Good luck and I hope you keep feeling better. I had headaches through my whole pregnancy. Yuck.

Yes, Chan, Mom always did like me best. The sooner you understand that simple fact, the sooner we can get this train wreck we call a family back on the track and on the road to Funsville. 'Cause right now, you're really bringing us all down.

I almost forgot that you hadn't already posted that you're prego! Congrats on the BOY!!! So fun ... we're on the same track. So far, boy is so fun so I'll keep you posted as our life with 2 unfolds. And you already know this, but I was so the same way with my pregnancy so don't feel too bad. I must mention, however, that I don't know what pioneers did while pregnant without television or air conditioning.

And although Fetal Foto is a cool name, a doctor I used to work with knew of a different, and much better name (I think) for a store that does the same thing in I think Chicago. Ready for it? "Womb With A View." Hilarity, right? It's my favorite. That and the "Boppy's" less popular counterpart, "My Breast Friend."

On a completely separate note, I just linked to Jer's blog from his comment and it's crazily overwhelming!!! I'm sure it's interesting but I'll have to attack all that intellect when it's not 3 am. I think I will go back to at least read about thank-imonies. That doesn't sound too complex.

Congratulations!!! You're so lucky to get one of each! Hope you get feeling better. It's definately easier the first time than when you've got another rugrat to take care of and are sick and tired. I'm sure she'll love him, especially since she'll get to be the big sister. Congrats!

Just wanted to check in and congratulate you guys. Carie told me she would never be able to do the pregnancy thing again after Grace was born, but here we are month 4 post-delivery and Carie is starting to feel different. It's such an amazing experience, both during and after that it's easy to forget some of the negative stuff. At any rate, keep in touch, we are happy for you guys!!!
