Izzy and Dad

I took this picture the other day when Izzy was having a bad day. For those of you who don't know, she never did like Binky's, so when she was about 6 months old she decided to suck on her favorite blue blanket instead. As you can see, she still uses it like a pacifier. I'm not sure how long they suggest you let them suck on a blanket, since I don't think it's a common practice. I thought these guys just looked cute together. I'm currently trying to get her on video talking. I taught her how to say her name the other day and it's pretty funny, so if I can get her to do it for me I'll post it soon.

What? I haven't been eating markers!

Isabelle loves to color! Somehow she always seems to find the markers and ask me to cuh! Yesterday was a particularly whiny day so I broke out the washable pip-squeak markers and told her to color while I finished doing my hair. After a few minutes I looked down to find her pretty pink lips had turned a much darker shade of royal blue. On skin this color doesn't show up as royal, but more of a satanish blue/black. Hopefully, this beauty trend won't show up again around 9th grade!
